BEIJING, January 10 (Reuters) - Amazon CEO (BEO) Bezos and his wife jointly issued a statement saying that after the long-term trial separation, the two have decided to divorce and end the 25-year marriage.
The statement said, "After a long period of love exploration, and experimental separation, we decided to divorce and continue to share life as friends." The statement said that they will continue to cooperate as "parents, friends, partners" .

The statement also expressed gratitude to the two people who had known each other and said that even if they knew that they would be separated, they would still choose together. The two also announced a $2 billion charity plan last year to donate to non-profit organizations that help homeless families and create preschool systems for low-income communities.
Besos, 54, is married to 48-year-old Mackenzie for 25 years. In the early 1990s, the two met with a hedge fund company in New York. They married six months after the date of the appointment and soon moved to Seattle. Bezos then
founded Amazon. The two have four children.

Bezos is the founder of Amazon, the nation's largest online retailer. This international e-commerce giant once again surpassed Microsoft in this week's market and became the most valuable company on the Wall Street stock market. Thanks to the soaring share of Amazon's stock, Bezos's worth last year was more than $160 billion, ranking the world's richest man.
McKenzie grew up in San Francisco and studied at Princeton University. She is a novelist and won the National Book Award in 2006.
